Therapy Fees

I offer a free 20-minute phone consult for to all-first time clients to answer any questions you might have and to ensure that I will be the right fit for you. If we decide to initiate counseling after that point, we will schedule an 80-minute intake evaluation, during which time we will discuss in-depth the concerns that are bringing you to counseling. This initial session is $200. All subsequent counseling appointments are 50 minutes and cost $150.

Payment is due at the time of the appointment. Appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at 50% the original fee.

Insurance

I am currently only in-network with Intercommunity Health Network CCO, and am unable to directly bill other insurance providers. However, I may be considered an out-of-network provider by your insurance provider and can assist you in utilizing your out-of-network benefits if you would like to do so. I encourage you to call your insurance prior to our first meeting to find out their policy on reimbursing out-of-network providers.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

In accordance with the 2021 "No Surprises Act," all current and prospective clients have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much their medical and mental health care will cost. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

For more questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
